Pantone has announced its Colour of the Year for 2026, and it’s a bit of a curveball.
Instead of another warm neutral or earthy hue, they’ve crowned Cloud Dancer, a crisp, classic white that’s as pure as they come. No undertones, no warmth, no coolness…just a straightforward, modern white in its simplest form.
Now, white might sound like the safe option, but Pantone isn’t playing it safe here.
Cloud Dancer feels like a reset button for interiors, a step away from the richer, layered palettes we’ve all seen over the past few years. Instead of fading into the background, Pantone suggests this colour becomes the backdrop that lets you rethink how your home flows.
